AN EXTRAORDINARY TALE OF SURVIVAL


After the war Kazimierz Szmauz remained in the UK. He married Diana Estelle Osgood in 1945.The union produced three boys. Diana and Kazimierz on a visit to Piotrków in 2001 Kazimierz worked in London as a chef and was employed in some of the top culinary establishments. He also became a qualified table tennis coach.

In 1981 Kazimierz and Diana moved to Thorpeness in Suffolk. Kazimierz passed away peacefully in Aldeburgh in 2011. He had survived Diana by seven years.

The Numbers had to Tally survives and will never be forgotten.
